Here at Yaldo Eye Center, our goal is to educate and prepare patients as much as possible, so when they go through our procedures they fully understand and know what to expect from their experiences.
There are many stages of corrective eye surgical procedures. We want you to know how each encounter with our highly qualified, experienced, and trained staff will run. We aim to make you feel as at ease and comfortable with the process as possible, because we know how precious your eyes truly are. As one of the most delicate parts of the body, eyes must be treated with extreme care and precision. In order to obtain optimum results desired by both parties, it is important to us to ensure you are well informed and all your questions are answered thoroughly and appropriately.
We take into account your weariness or possible hesitation about making the first step toward a clearer, brighter future. Surgery can be scary, but fear is only the result of doubt and lack of information.
- The first step of our process is the FREE consultation with one of our doctors that takes about 30 minutes.
- Following a full eye exam (may be a different day than your consultation), you and your doctor will make the most appropriate decision for treatment of your individual case by taking into account your prescription, and what lasers or technology will best treat your eyes.
- Surgery will be scheduled according to your convenience for our earliest available date.
- The day of surgery will include pre-operative procedures, the surgery itself, and clearance to leave with a previously arranged form of alternate transportation.
- You will be required to follow up with post-operative check ups to measure level of correction and patient/doctor satisfaction.
- Next day post-operative appointment
- 1-2 week follow up appointment
- 1-3 month post-operative appointment
